Scrap moves before the mill list does
Scrap and base-metal prices lead finished-product pricing by days or weeks. Desks that watch both together see the margin squeeze coming; desks that only watch their own sales list find out when the order book is already priced.
- Input against output. Track scrap and billet in the same view as the rebar you sell.
- Grade-level detail. HMS 1&2 80:20 is not shredded — we keep the grades separate because your yard does.
