A price is only useful if you can prove where it came from
Every record carries its source, its unit, its currency and the date it applies to. Nothing is overwritten when a source revises a figure — the history stays intact, so a number you quoted last quarter is still the number you can show today.
- Named sources. Exchange, reporter or regulator — attributed on every row.
- Normalised units and currencies. Tonnes, barrels, ounces and maunds reconciled; 12 currencies handled.
- Full history retained. Three years of series across the core markets.
- Monitored collection. If a source changes its format or goes quiet, we see it and fix it — you never silently lose a series.
